Creative Jobs

Creative Jobs
Creative jobs are for the more artistic and imaginative members of the media industry, such as Scriptwriters, Set Designers, Artists and Graphic Designers.
A Scriptwriter has the task of creating a story that will go from being words on pieces of paper into something real that appeals to a mass audience. Their job is to come up with an original story which excites and interests the audience for its duration.
Set Designers use their creativity to build the setting and atmosphere for a filmed sequence. They can be on a smaller scale, such as for a sitcom or soap, or on a much larger scale such as a Hollywood movie.
Artists, as in any profession, are very creative people and it is very much the same for an artist in media. Although you’d think they’d just be used for an animated film or cartoon TV comedy, they are also useful with live action too. With the Artists’ drawings the Director can take inspiration when setting out their scene, as well as sometimes influencing the actor chosen for the role because if they look similar to the drawing it stays true to the original story.
Graphic Designers are instrumental with making animated films as they can create characters and settings with their skills. They are also useful in live action too, especially with sci-fi or action movies, with creating space ships or explosions.
