Administrative Jobs
Someone whose work consists of many versions of project management, supporting management and having a good set of communication skills is an Administrative Assistant, known as a Secretary. Secretaries are used primarily to assist employees, dealing with telephone calls, memos, e-mails, faxes and other uses of communication, as well as setting out meetings for executives and such and meeting new members of the workplace. As well as the jobs already mentioned, Secretaries have many duties. These include; managing budgets, typing and sending out letters, making travel arrangements and taking care of the company’s website.
A Researcher’s job is fairly self-explanatory. Their job is to research for any necessary information. They can work in many fields, such as academic, government, industrial or private establishments. Researchers are very important in media. With one of their main tasks being to establish facts, Researchers have a task in order to make, for example, a film or TV show to be factually correct. This is usually more needed for when the setting is many, many years ago as it needs to be a realistic portrayal of the specific time.
